Aura – Privacy Policy

Aura is an AI vibe and identity analyzer operated by Deep C Vision. Aura is an entertainment app — its readings are for fun and self-expression, not professional, medical, or psychological advice. We built Aura to collect as little as possible: no accounts, no logins, no tracking.

1. Information We Collect
• Photos and screenshots you choose to analyze. When you pick an image (a selfie, outfit, room, or social screenshot), it is sent securely over an encrypted connection to our processing server, and from there to Anthropic's Claude AI, purely to generate your analysis. We collect the image only at the moment you select it for a reading — you choose each image individually, and Aura never browses, scans or accesses your photo library on its own. Before your first analysis, the app tells you exactly what is sent and to whom, and asks for your agreement; no image is sent unless you accept.
• Subscription information. If you buy Aura Pro, your purchase is handled by Apple or Google and your status is managed through RevenueCat using an anonymous, app-generated identifier. We never see or store your card or payment details.
• Limited technical data. Our server records error logs to keep the service working. They are not used to identify you.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, or location. We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking software.

2. How We Use Your Information
• To create your reading — your image is processed by Claude AI (Anthropic) to generate the analysis.
• To manage subscriptions — RevenueCat maintains your Aura Pro status via your anonymous identifier.
• To keep Aura secure and working — error data helps us fix problems and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use your photos to train any AI models.

3. Third-Party Services
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — receives the image you select and processes it to produce your analysis. Anthropic acts as our service provider and is contractually bound to protect this data to a standard equal to our own: it processes the image only to fulfil the request, does not use it to train its models, and does not sell or share it. https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments
• Amazon Web Services — hosts the secure server that forwards your request to Anthropic

4. Data Storage
Your photos are not stored. Images are processed in memory to generate your reading and then discarded. We keep no copies on our servers or in any database.

Anthropic processes your image only to create the analysis and does not use it to train its models. It may retain data briefly for safety and abuse monitoring under its API terms, after which it is deleted.

Your results stay on your device. Your aura history is saved locally on your phone only and is never uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes it.

We do not sell your information to anyone.

5. Data Deletion
Because readings are stored only on your device, deleting the app erases your history. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account. For any privacy request, email contact@deepcvision.co.uk.

6. Children's Privacy
Aura is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us.

7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and continued use of Aura means you accept the revised policy.
